NOTICE OF 2026 PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
The governing authority of Shiloh has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 36.76 percent. This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 7.50 mills, an increase of 2 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 5.484 mills. The proposed tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $200,000 is approximately $160 and the proposed tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $125,000 is approximately $100. Citizens are invited to the public hearings on this tax increase to be held at Shiloh City Hall located at 1222 Main Street July 28th at 10:00 am, July 31st at 5:00 pm and August 4th at 5:45 pm.
